Last night was unforgettable.
I was honoured to receive the Ascend Montréal Woman of Distinction Leadership Award.
I couldn’t help but think of my parents — who came to Canada with nothing but courage and love, leaving behind their language, friends, and comfort so we could build new dreams.
My sister, endlessly creative and generous, reminds me that “excess is success.”
And my husband — my fanciest accessory at every gala 🤣 — has been there since the very beginning, quietly making sure I can shine.
To Carin Reggie and the Ascend Montréal team and all the honourees — your stories inspire me.

昨晚真是令人難忘。
我很榮幸獲得滿地可傑出女性領袖獎。
我不禁想起我的父母──他們帶著勇氣和愛來到加拿大，放棄了自己的語言、朋友和舒適的生活，只為讓我們在這裡建立新的夢想。
我那充滿創意、慷慨大方的妹妹總是提醒我「超越才是成功」。
還有我的丈夫──每次盛會上我最耀眼的配件──從一開始就陪伴在我身邊，默默地確保我能光芒四射。
致卡琳·雷吉、滿地可傑出女性領導獎團隊以及所有獲獎者──你們的故事激勵著我。
